not that it matters to any1 but me... due to a recent court thingy, the MTA is restructuring a few key routes (atleast ones i take at various times). This is obviously to get people to buy the 3$ day pass, but alsoto allow local neighborhoods to bare the burden.

The Southern California Transit Advocates are trying to fight to save those fringe/suburban routes. They are usually where the jobs are, and strange how even the Bus Riders Union ignores the fact that a lot more low-income folks live out this way than one would guess from the pathetic bus service these areas get.
lower income families (in LA) tend to buy monthly passes. Believe me, i've lived it.
aka, the day pass is a good thing.
